Support the work for more blood donors

Joining the Swedish Blood Donors Association is quick and easy. Registration takes just a minute.

  • Become a blood donor

    Register your interest in becoming a blood donor at GeBlod.nu:

    1. Go to GeBlod.nu and choose Become a blood donor.
    2. Check the basic requirements and submit the registration form.
    3. Your blood centre will contact you for testing and a health interview.
    4. Once approved, you can book an appointment and start donating blood.

  • Become a member

    You can use My pages in your browser or download the app for iPhone or Android. The web version and the app work in the same way.

    1. Choose My pages or one of the app buttons at the bottom of this card.
    2. Click Become a member.
    3. Enter your details and pay the membership fee by Swish or bank giro.

Why become a member?

  • Take part in events and activities.
  • Receive news and information from the association.
  • Join the community and the work.
  • Use the member features in the Blodgivarna app.

Membership is open to anyone who shares our aims. You do not need to be a blood donor to become a member.

What does membership cost?

The membership fee is SEK 200 per year. You can also take out a life membership for SEK 5,000 and remain a member for life without having to think about the annual fee.

If you would like to support the work over the longer term, you can become a monthly donor for SEK 100 a month. Regular support lets the association plan its work over time and strengthen the effort for more blood donors in Sweden.

Choose what suits you

Three ways to support the work for more blood donors.

  • Annual member

    SEK 200 per year. Full membership with all member benefits. Renewed annually.

  • Life member

    SEK 5,000 once. A member for life, with no annual fee to keep track of.

  • Monthly donor

    SEK 100 per month. Regular support that lets us plan and strengthen our continued work.
